Dr Charminie Makuloluwe is a Consultant Geriatrician and Physician with over 25 years experience of working in the NHS and has over 10 years experience as working as a Specialist Consultant in the NHS.
She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2019 which is recognition of excellence and innovation in the field of medicine.
She completed her medical training at St Georges Hospital (University of London) and qualified in 1994. She subsequently completed the rigorous specialisation process to become a Consultant Geriatrician and Physician working in busy teaching hospitals in London which provided excellent training and experience and was accredited as a specialist on the GMC specialist register in 2014.
She is a Royal College Examiner examining junior doctors for PACES clinical examinations and sits regularly on Consultant Interview Panels as the Royal College Representative to ensure the RCP standards are adhered to in the appointments of new Consultants.
